art theologian at your service.
Don’t let the word theologian scare you. I’m not here to tell you what to believe; I’m here to help you explore and discover your own spiritual truth. Art theology is a method that uses art-making to think through our ideas and questions about God, divine Love, and mystery. My mission is to help people live more deeply in God’s love and to share that love with our one human family. Many methods of traditional theology are grounded in argumentation and discursive reasoning. In contrast, art theology is rooted in the idea that divine love is a reality that infinitely expands our ideas of love, rather than seeks to be “right.” It seeks to incorporate the wisdom of all spiritualities and faith traditions.
